GolfRite's roots go back 44 years to when a 9-year old boy from northern New Jersey met and watched a PGA Tour rookie by the name of Jack Nicklaus play in the 1963 Phoenix Open. On that particular day, Skip Guss knew there was only one thing he wanted to do with his life -- become a professional golfer.

Fast-forward to 2005. After more than 40 years of playing and working in the golf business, Skip opened the first GolfRite Learning Center.

Skip's goal is to offer a learning experience where all students, regardless of age and ability, can learn to play better and have more fun! That's everyone including you.

At first, the center operated in leased space in an athletic training facility in Sudbury, Mass. But soon satellite facilities opened in Mansfield and Waltham. Students were excited; golfers were getting better, and all seemed well. But something kept bothering Skip Guss. Due to limited space, he couldn't offer the entire complement of instructional programs and practice facilities he longed to give his students.

After a year of searching among locations throughout central Massachusetts, Skip found the ideal spot. In fall 2006, Skip  leased an expansive, 6,000 square foot building, conveniently located just west of Sudbury, in the picturesque town of Hudson, Mass. In February of 2010, GolfRite changed logo's, names and locations!!

Now called "GolfRite Performance Center", we now operate out of the best golf facility on the east coast, The International Golf Club & Resort. Now GolfRite clients have every opportunity to improve.

We now offer the most comprehensive indoor/outdoor teaching and practice facility in all of New England.
